Bradenton – Bayreuth: “Wir”, das sind Axel und Bea (Beate) Weiss, Sea to Sky Realty.

Aufgewachsen sind wir in der Kulmbacher / Hofer Gegend im schönen Frankenland. In den 1990-ern sind wir selbst regelmäßig nach Florida gekommen und haben uns gleich in Florida verliebt. Die eigene Ferienimmobilie in Bradenton folgte dann kurze Zeit später, ebenso ein alter Cadillac.

Nach Abschluss unsere Studien an der Universität Bayreuth und sammeln erster Berufserfahrungen, haben wir im Jahre 2003 die Möglichkeit erhalten, fest in die USA, also in unserem Fall “natürlich” Florida, überzusiedeln. Diese Gelegenheit haben wir selbstrendend genutzt. Und haben es bisher zu keiner Zeit bereut.

Aufgrund unserer Ausbildungen war die Maklertätigkeit in Florida naheliegend. Axel hat erfolgreich Betriebswirtschaftslehre mit den Schwerpunkten Immobilien, Finanzen und Steuern studiert. Zudem hat er schon während des Studiums ein IT Unternehmen gegründet und damals u.a. führende Politiker beraten. Bea ist zugelassene (dt.) Rechtsanwältin mit den Schwerpunkten Immobilien- und Erbrecht.

Hier in Florida haben wir die notwendigen Zulassungsprüfungen zum Immobilienmakler abgelegt und uns für einige Zeit einem großen Maklerbüro von Keller Williams Realty angeschlossen. Unser Ziel war es aber von Anfang an, uns selbstständig zu machen und so haben wir im Jahre 2007 Sea to Sky® Realty gegründet. Unser Anspruch war es immer eine individuelle Beratung zu bieten, die durchaus über die “übliche” Maklertätigkeit hinausgehen kann.

Wir arbeiten und leben in Bradenton, zwischen Downtown Bradenton und Anna Maria Island am historischen Riverview Boulevard. Neben der Vermittlung und Verkauf von Immobilien, haben wir zwischenzeitlich eine eigene Tochtergesellschaft, die sich ausschließlich um die Ferienvermietung eigener und Kundenimmobilien kümmert (Suncoast Vacation). Daneben beraten wir, wenn es um Auswanderungen und Investitionen in Florida geht. Wir bieten Ihnen den Vorteil der Koordination aus einer Hand. Kein Massenbetrieb, sondern individuell zugeschnittene Beratung.

Unser Immobilien-Büro Sea to Sky Realty ist Mitglied der örtlichen Maklerkammern und so können wir alle in Florida im Maklercomputersystem MLS registrierten Objekte provisionsfrei für den Käufer anbieten.

Axel Weiss has been in international investments since the early 1990s. At that time he was pursuing his MBA at the University of Bayreuth, Germany with focus on international real estate and taxation, founded and successfully sold several businesses during in the mid to late 1990s. During his studies at the University of Bayreuth, Axel had the opportunity to also spend time in Berkeley, CA, Miami, FL and Nice, France for research.

Over the following 15-years, Axel Weiss was working closely with many of the largest investment firms all over the world. At the age of 26 he was selected as one of the youngest new economy advisors for the current German Secretary of the Finance Wolfgang Schäuble (CDU).

With a vacation home in Bradenton since the 1990s, Axel and Bea joined Keller Williams Realty, the fastest growing Real Estate franchises in the US at that time. Axel was responsible for the teams operations and orchestrated the global acquisition of international clients, while Bea served as dedicated luxury real estate buyer’s specialist and advisor in the legal counsel. Franchised real estate companies are a good place to get in touch with the procedures, however the uniqueness of personal services provided by big companies like Keller-Williams, ReMAX or Sotheby’s Realty got limited opportunities at some point. Through his leadership, Axel together with his partner Bea, who holds a German attorney license, led the foundation for Sea to Sky Group of companies to become fully customer dedicated. Sea to Sky Realty, Sea to Sky Investments and Anna Maria Island Real Estate are the current licensed Real Estate Brokerages in the Sea to Sky Family.

Bea Weiss is dedicated to helping her clients find their own piece of paradise. She holds both L.L.M. and J.D. law degrees and is admitted to the German Bar. She decided to concentrate on supporting people to make their dream become reality. Her knowledge in the global legal system provides for smooth deals from the beginning to closing and many times thereafter.
